Conveniently located at the corner of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Perkins Road in Baton Rouge, The NeuroMedical Center is an exciting addition to both the architectural landscape and the health care offerings of Greater Baton Rouge, but at its heart is a neuroscience group practice whose reputation for excellence spans nearly 30 years.

The physicians of The NeuroMedical Center wanted to provide a continuum of care that is unmatched in Louisiana. This facility is a natural evolution for the practice, allowing its doctors to treat a wider range of patients in a more focused manner. It creates a synergy of specialists, services, and technology that allows patients to be seen more efficiently and treated more effectively.

The opening of The NeuroMedical Center Facility gives the center's experienced physicians the advantages of a fully equipped hospital and control over the environment in which their patients receive treatment, from their first consultation to their discharge. At the same time, patients now enjoy the advantages of a single facility where they can see multiple specialists, undergo necessary procedures, and obtain the ancillary services required for their diagnosis and care.

The surgical hospital itself is a 55,000-square-foot, 23 bed specialty hospital with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, four operating room suites, three pain procedure rooms, a diagnostic radiofrequency and a sleep lab. The hospital is located immediately adjacent to The NeuroMedical Center's new six-story, 120,000-square-foot medical office building, meaning this close proximity allows the doctors of The NeuroMedical Center to see and treat patients with optimum efficiency.

Beginning May 1, 2008, Correct Care will provide standby medical care coverage each night and weekend.
