Stone County Medical Center, is a 25-bed facility which offers a variety of services and is steadily adding more services to insure meeting the needs of the Stone County community. In December, 2005, SCMS opened a new Surgery/Outpatient wing and phase II construction will include a new Emergency Department. SCMC's primary mission is to promote "wellness as wholeness of body, soul and mind by administering quality medical care to its community."
